NBL1 Update:
New signings:
More big signings have been added in the lead up to our 2026 campaigns.
Alex Connolly returns for her second season. A hardworking guard, Connolly has built a reputation for her scoring ability and competitiveness, delivering strong performances.
Jay Posterino is also back for another year. Having come through the Geelong United pathway and spending time around the NBL1 program, Posterino has continued to grow as part of our club both on and off the court.
A hardworking guard who knows what it means to represent Geelong, we’re excited to see Jay back in the navy and white for another NBL1 season.
Poppy Stevens is back in the mix as well. The emerging young talent is coming off a season with Geelong Venom and ready to get to work. A versatile guard with strong scoring ability makes her a key contributor to the group. The 18 yr old has signed at Miami University for D1 basketball in 2027.
Ryan Drinkwater is the last of this weeks’ announcements. Ryan has built a strong reputation on the court with his ability to create offense, stretch the floor, and make big plays in key moments. With a competitive edge and high work rate, he brings energy, experience, and playmaking ability every time he steps on the floor.
