U12 Girls 2: W 37-20
The Geelong United U12(2) Girls delivered an excellent team performance in Round 2, securing a strong 37–20 victory over Whittlesea. From the opening minutes, the team showed impressive defensive pressure, teamwork, and confidence with the ball.
Key Highlights
Outstanding defensive pressure from start to finish caused numerous opposition turnovers and forced several errors.
Great passing across the team, which consistently created open opportunities and led to easier baskets.
Noticeable improvement in ball movement, with players doing a great job finding the open teammate.
Excellent execution of the new baseline and sideline plays, showing strong understanding and teamwork.
The team demonstrated great sportsmanship throughout the game.
The growing bond and trust between teammates continues to strengthen each week and was clearly visible on the court.
Overall Performance
This was an excellent all-round team performance. The combination of strong defense, improved passing, and teamwork allowed the team to control the game and create scoring opportunities. The continued development of team chemistry is a great sign for the season ahead.

U14 Boys 2: L 39-52
Proud of the boys tonight.
Sadly, we got off to a slow start and they got a quick jump on us however the boys fought back, winning quarters 2 & 4 through tenacious defence and better trans offence.
