Geelong Venom officially have a new mascot… The mascot’s name though is not official just yet.

Name submissions closed last night, and now it’s time to dive into all the submissions to find the absolute best of the best, and you’ll find out what it is this Saturday October 10 at Geelong Venom Family Day!

Geelong Venom Family Day:

TAC Geelong United Tournament 2026 (Koorr Koorr Ngitji):

GUB will once again be holding a celebration of our sport by Coming Together (Waddawurrung: Koorr Koorr Ngitji) at a festival of basketball!

Now in its fifth year, the tournament will be held from October 31-November 1, 2026 across the multiple venues that host Geelong United’s community games each week.

Over the course of the weekend, teams will play a minimum of four games against other VJBL clubs, country associations and community teams from across the nation.

Registrations are now closed for the tournament, with more details about events across the weekend coming soon!
