WNBL Update:

The fairytale start to the season wasn’t to be, as our Geelong Venom season opener ended in an 8 point loss to the Sydney Flames.
After trailing by as much as 22 points during the contest, our squad did well to pull the margin back, though time was not on their side and they eventually fell short.
Alex Sharp took out our Player of the Match honours dropping 14 points, along with 10 rebounds and 4 assists.
An ankle injury to import Alissa Pili will also put her in doubt for our upcoming home game against the Adelaide Lightning this weekend.
This Saturday afternoon, we’re back on home court as we host the Adelaide Lightning at The Strike House (Geelong Arena).
It’s a family friendly 3pm start, so make sure you’re there for the energy, the noise, and the pride of Geelong on full display.
