WNBL Update:

Geelong Venom has strengthened its commitment to pathways by signing Poppy Stevens, Georgia Taylor and Tayli DeMarco as development players for the 2025/26 WNBL season.

All three have strong ties to Victorian basketball, with Venom officials hailing their selection as proof of the opportunities being created for homegrown talent.

Geelong United Basketball and AFL Barwon have teamed up for the all new Geelong Barwon Netball Summer Cup!

This senior women’s competition will showcase the skill and athleticism of netballers from across our great region.

Looking to build your skills and get an extra training session in each week?

The Community Development Program is a great opportunity for players in the GUB Community Competitions to grow their game in a relaxed and supportive environment.

Each session focuses on:

  • Skill development
  • Game IQ
  • Confidence building

Led by Program Coordinator Courtney Burke, the program offers a fun and engaging space for players to learn, improve, and enjoy basketball even more.

PLEASE NOTE: Tryouts for the U14, 16 and 18 boys are for players who are currently playing VJBL or who received an invite from our pre screening tryouts only.

Each week, players will step into a purposefully designed session that follows the same structure, standards, and flow as a pro-level workout — focused on efficiency, detail, and game-ready execution.

The Future United Stars program is a skill development program that will teach players how to be able to play competitively.
