NBL1 Update:

Women flex their muscle once again – Men fall just short:

NBL1 Scores Geelong United

Our women’s squad have yet again continued their unbeaten run, now just four 4 away from a perfect regular season at 18 straight.

Frankston brought some firepower early in the contest, but after the major break were unable to keep up with the sharp shooting of Taylor Mole (23 points) and Gemma Potter (19 points), who put the game on their shoulders and took us to a commanding lead – Running away eventual winners by 18.

Our men’s side fell agonisingly short of keeping their finals hopes alive, going down to a scrappy Frankston side by 3 points in a contest that went right down to the wire. With just four games left and finals out of the equation, our lads will look to play spoiler for the remainder of the season to go out on a team high.
