WNBL Update
Geelong’s WNBL squad is pleased to welcome its newest addition, Shyla Heal.

After two dominant seasons in Europe, most recently as a top 5 scorer in the top Turkish League, as well as success in Poland, Israel and France, Shyla was a highly sought after free agent in Europe and turned down a range of lucrative offers to sign with Geelong in a bid to bring a WNBL title to the region. She returns to the WNBL for the first time since winning a championship with Townsville in 2023, and fresh off training camp with the WNBA’s Phoenix Mercury.
NBL1 Update:
Women continue unbeaten run to 14 – Men with work to do:

Our women’s squad have continued their perfect run for the season, defeating both Ringwood and Launceston over the weekend to bring up a perfect 14 wins.
Our men’s squad had a slightly tougher double header weekend, going down to some strong opposition in Ringwood on Saturday night, followed by a 12 point loss on home floor to NW Tasmania.
They’ll look to regroup into next weekend as we once again take to our home floor against Diamond Valley.
Next home game:
We’re back home this Saturday night! Don’t forget to grab your tickets to our round 11 clash against Diamond Valley. Women from 5pm, Men from 7pm – Get your tickets here.

Big V Youth League Update:

An unlucky home double over the weekend as both teams went down against Knox.
We’ll look to regroup as our women head back to home floor twice this weekend, while our men hit the road to Melbourne on Saturday.
