NBL1 Update:
Women rack up a perfect 10 – Men look to regroup:
A double header on the road saw our Women’s squad keep their undefeated run in tact, now into double figures with a perfect 10-0 record.
Friday night’s top of the table clash saw the whole team step up once again as they got the job done over second placed Knox by 18 points. They then followed up this effort on Sunday to defeat Mt Gambier for the second time this season by 27.
Our Men will be looking to regroup ahead of next weekend, losing both games of the away double header – But some big performances show positive signs for the journey ahead. DeMarcus Gatlin once again showed he’s only getting better with age, racking up a collective 31 points, 29 rebounds and 14 assists across both games. Tristan De Zwart Forsyth was also a big contributor, with 14 points at Knox, and 20 in Mt Gambier.
Both teams now head to Eltham this Saturday to take on the Wildcats – Watch the games live via the NBL1 app, Women from 6pm, Men from 8pm.
Next home game:
We’re back home at the end of the month! Don’t forget to grab your tickets to our round nine clash against Melbourne on May 31. Women from 5pm, Men from 7pm – Get your tickets here.
