RL Signs GUB Champs League Women’s Game of the Week: Pivot City vs. Try Boys
Try Boys have strengthened their push for a top-two finish in the RL Signs GUB Champs League Women’s competition with a commanding 72-28 victory over Pivot City in the Game of the Week.
Alisha Knights starred for Try Boys, pouring in a game-high 28 points in a dominant offensive display. She was well supported by Sienna Quinlan with 15 points and Angelina Kulic with 11 as Try Boys claimed three of the four quarters. The only blemish on an otherwise polished performance came in the second term, where they briefly eased off the pace and managed just 5 points, but they quickly returned to control after the main break.
Despite missing key contributors Mackenzie Drew and Grace Spehar, Pivot City continued to battle throughout the contest. Sienna Shaw led the way with 13 points, while each of the other five players in the rotation found their way onto the scoresheet, albeit with limited single-digit contributions.
With just two rounds remaining in the regular season and positions two through four still up for grabs, Try Boys have placed themselves in a strong position at 10-6 and third on the ladder. Pivot City slip to 3-12 and remain fifth.

Pivot City have thrown the RL Signs GUB Champs League Men’s competition wide open after handing ladder leaders YMCA their first defeat of the 2026 Winter season, prevailing in a thrilling 79-77 Game of the Week contest.
In one of the season’s biggest results, Pivot City produced a balanced scoring performance led by Ethan Blythe and Harry Moran, who each poured in 22 points. Jordan O’Leary added 12 points, while Max Kos chipped in with 11 as Pivot matched the competition benchmark in a high-quality clash.
YMCA remained in the hunt throughout thanks to another standout performance from GUB Big V Youth League MVP Bailey Bruce, who finished with a game-high 23 points. Kye Kelly provided strong support with 18 points, while Kris van Parreren added 10 in the narrow loss.
The result gives Pivot City a significant boost heading into the final two rounds of the regular season, moving them firmly into the race for a top-two finish. They now sit level on wins with second-placed Try Boys, trailing only on points and percentage.
Despite the setback, YMCA remain comfortably atop the ladder with a commanding 16-1 record, still four games clear of the chasing pack with just one blemish on an otherwise perfect campaign.
