RL Signs GUB Champs League Women’s Game of the Week – Sharks vs Pivot City

The Sharks delivered a commanding performance in the RL Signs GUB Champs League Women’s Game of the Week, overpowering Pivot City 107–63 in a one-sided contest.

It was a night to remember for Jada Button, who put on a sensational display, pouring in an astonishing 52 points to lead the charge. She was brilliantly supported by Cortney Hollowood, whose 37-point effort completed a devastating one-two punch that Pivot City struggled to contain from start to finish.

Despite the heavy defeat, Pivot City had their moments through Geelong United BigV Youth League and NBL1 representative Mackenzie Drew, who battled hard to finish with 34 points. Shayna Brown added 12 points, while Macey Bowie chipped in with 10, but a lack of broader scoring depth made it difficult to keep pace with the Sharks’ relentless offense.

The victory sees the Sharks strengthen their position in third place on the ladder with a 3-2 record, while Pivot City continue their search for a breakthrough win this season.
