NBL1 Update:
Round two was a big one:
Round 2 saw us take back the Mark Leader Shield from Ballarat, with convincing wins over both their women’s and men’s sides.
The Mark Leader Shield honours the Memory of the former Geelong United (Supercats during his Tenure) and Ballarat Miners coach who sadly passed away in 2023 after a battle with cancer.
Mark’s wife Jill was in attendance to present the shield to our Geelong United coaches and captains following the evenings games.

Big V Youth League Update:
Our teams went 2 from 3 over the weekend – Our YL1 Women’s squad kept their unbeaten start to the season rolling, and our VYC Men were able to bounce back in style after a tough loss on Saturday afternoon to get a 6 point home floor win on Sunday.
Both teams now hit the road next weekend for a double header against Knox at the State Basketball Centre on Saturday night.
VJBL Teams of the Week:
Laserquest Geelong and Waurn Ponds are proud to once again be presenting Team of the Week honours to our VJBL squads.
After an exciting night of action last Friday for round 5, our teams of the week are ๐จ๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐น๐ ๐ฑ, ๐จ๐ญ๐ฒ ๐๐ผ๐๐ ๐๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ป and ๐จ๐ญ๐ฎ ๐๐ผ๐๐ ๐ฏ.
