4 games – 4 wins – 4 ANZAC Medals.

Both squads brought home wins on Friday night in Launceston – Our Women’s squad with a comfortable 25 point W over the Tornadoes which saw Gemma Potter awarded the ANZAC Medal for the game. On the men’s side of things it was a much tougher battle with our lads eventually getting over the line by 4 points over NW Tasmania, with big man Tristan De Zwart Forsyth awarded the ANZAC Medal. This game would come at a cost though, with star import Kaelen Malone suffering a wrist injury which could see him on the sidelines for an extended period. Read more via the Geelong Advertiser here.

Backing things up on Saturday in Hobart, it was another comfortable 27 point W for our women’s squad extending their unbeaten run to 6 – Hannah Hank would also be awarded the game’s ANZAC Medal. And once again for our Men it was a tougher battle as we eventually walked away 5 point winners, DeMarcus Gatlin receiving ANZAC Medal honours.
