Women’s Championship Wrap | Round 10

Despite missing league-leading scorer Eve Braslis, Pivot City still had enough scoring options as it overcame CC Eagles 68-46 in Geelong United Basketball Women’s Winter Championship action on Tuesday night.

Four players scored in double-figures for Pivot, led by 18 points from Ella Tofaeono and 15 from Miley Dawkins.

Ash Withers (19 points) and Alivia Osborne (12) battled hard for the Eagles.

MEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP WRAP | ROUND 10

Georgia Varley proved the difference as Sharks dominated Try Boys for a 97-41 victory at Geelong Arena.

Varley finished with 43 points as Sharks pulled away after leading 18-13 at quarter time.

Cortney Hollowood (15 points), Alex Duck (12) and Emma Jarvis (12) were also busy for Sharks.

Young big Kayla Blazko battled hard for the Bears, finishing with 18 points.

Surfcoasters forfeited to Wildcats.
