NBL1 Update:
Women fall one game short of perfect season:

Our Plan Group Women’s squad travelled to the State Basketball Centre over the weekend to take on Knox in the NBL1 South women’s grand final.
Hoping to secure a 25th straight win for the season and a championship, it wasn’t to be for our girls – Falling short to the Raiders by 20 pints.
Jaz Shelley top scored for the team dropping 19 points, Hannah Hank our next best with a double double including 13 points and 16 rebounds.
Despite the loss, our squad deserves a massive congratulations for a stellar season – 24 and 1 doesn’t happen often, and it’s something they should still be extremely proud of.
With the season now over, attention turns to WNBL season beginning in October.
