RL Signs GUB Champs League Women’s Game of the Week – YMCA vs. Pivot City

YMCA continued their strong start to the RL Signs GUB Champs League Women’s season with a commanding 73–52 victory over Pivot City in this week’s Game of the Week. The ladder leaders showcased their depth and offensive cohesion, improving to 5–1 and reinforcing their position at the top of the standings.

Harmony Parker led the way with 20 points, combining effectively with Aleks Connolly, who added 19 in a polished one-two punch. The duo set the tone early, while fellow Geelong United Big V Youth League teammate Taylah Richards provided valuable support with 14 points in a well-rounded team performance.

Pivot City battled hard throughout, with all but one player getting on the scoreboard in an encouraging sign despite the result. Ella Pullen led her side with 10 points, while Sienna Shaw, Zoe Hodges and Livinia Wilson each contributed nine. However, the scoring spread wasn’t enough to match YMCA’s firepower and consistency.

Now sitting at 0–6, Pivot City will be eager to build momentum, while YMCA continues to look like the team to beat.
