Geelong United Basketball welcomes New Balance as apparel partner

Geelong United Basketball (GUB) proudly welcomes New Balance as its new apparel partner.

The partnership will see GUB’s Pathways teams sporting the New Balance brand on and off the court for the next three years.

“GUB is thrilled to partner with New Balance for the next three years,” CEO Mark Neeld said.

“New Balance is a renowned global name, and we look forward to building a long-term relationship.

“We also look forward to announcing some exciting benefits for our Pathway athletes as a result of this partnership.”

One of the world’s leading sports footwear and apparel brands, New Balance has been making quality products since being founded in Boston in 1906 by William J. Riley.

New Balance Australia Regional General Manager Dean Howard said he looked forward to a successful partnership with GUB through its Team Sport licensee Belgravia Sports Apparel.

“At New Balance, we strive to provide the perfect blend of performance technology and style for all, whether that be helping athletes striving across all community sport or promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for the community as a whole,” he said.

“We are extremely proud to partner with GUB’s pathways teams and look forward to seeing the teams take the court in 2024 and beyond wearing our uniforms,”

Independent since 1906, New Balance empower people through sport and craftsmanship to create positive change in communities around the world.

We also welcome Belgravia Apparel (BA) as new partners. BA is the Australasian elite teamwear partner of New Balance, supplying both supporter and performance products for all elite partners.

As part of a transition period, athletes remaining in our VJBL program ARE NOT expected to purchase New Balance apparel until replacing current apparel.
